"The Art of Selfless Service", a biography of Akinwunmi Ambode gets lauched and is a must read!

On the 15th day of May, 2014, the essentially timely book "the Art of Selfless Service" was launched. In few words, the roll call at the event was simply awe-inspiring. Many accomplished men and women of enviable repute had come to honour Akinwunmi Ambode, the unarguable man of the moment. 


The book, written by Marina Osoba, entails a chronology of the personal and professional life of Akinwunmi Ambode and how he mitigated its attendant challenges.
The book was generally appraised as a book everyone should get and read, from adults to professionals, civil servants and even teenagers who desire guidance and thirst for seamless service to their fatherland and even toward themselves.

The launch was replete with high-points, but most notable ones included when an emotive and heart-grasping documentary of the life, challenges and feats of Akinwunmi Ambode was shown to the audience. Also, was when the grand king of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, expressed his personal endorsement of Akinwunmi Ambode as the next governor of the state - that made the whole audience spellbound and rocked. another of these high-points came on a lighter note when Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode himself gave a funny but smart remark to the public, to cap off his vote of thanks by saying "buy me book oh".

Then came the moment when the representative of Governor Fashola, the state's SSG, unveiled the book formally for the public.

It was a top-notch event rendered with masterpiece.
